Wednesday's Wonderful Website: Kids in the Word
A few weeks ago, I participated in an online homeschool curriculum e-book sale. As a result, I received a lot of really good online offers. As a result of some of those offers, I found myself on some e-mail lists (of course). One of the e-mail lists eventually pointed me to Kids in the Word. WHAT A GREAT WEBSITE!!! Per the "about" section on this blog, "Kids in the Word exists to inspire, encourage, and equip parents to instill a love for God and the Bible in their kids. You’ll find information and resources to assist you in discipling your kids." Sounds good to me! One thing that I was really excited about was the monthly scripture memory cards. Instead of just memorizing one verse, the cards help kids break up a longer section into smaller, more manageable chunks. I'm planning on having my kids learn one or two sections (one or two cards) per week. I'll finish the month by having them recite the entire passage to me. You can check out June's scripture memory cards here: Kids in the Word June Cards.
Another exciting part of this blog is the book study. That's definitely something I want to look into. You can check that out over here: Book Study Information.
